Whittington Center’s shotgun facility is one of the largest in the country with 17 trap fields, 4 skeet overlays, 2 5-Stand fields and 3 Sporting Clays ranges. Our Shotgun Center will meet your every need, whether you’re a beginner or competitive shooter. An NRAWC employee will meet with all shotgun shooters prior to any shotgun shooting sessions.
This range can be utilized by informal and competitive shotgun shooters. All shooters must check in at the Shotgun Office prior to shooting. Gun rental and ammo available for purchase at the Shotgun Center.

The Shotgun Center Dining Facility seats up to 150 people. The Dining Facility is open for specific events only.

Every guest 18 years of age and older must read and sign the online Waiver before they are allowed onto the NRA Whittington Center. For those younger than 18 years of age a parent or legal guardian must complete the form and sign it on their behalf. Waivers must be filled out once a year every year on or after January 1st.
Shotgun Range Safety Rules
Shooters can take part in competitive shooting, rifle and pistol silhouette, bullseye disciplines, and even black powder muzzle-loading rifles.
Come stay with us! The general public is welcome to stay at the Whittington Center. There is a broad range of housing to accommodate individuals, couples, and small to large groups.
All Whittington-U courses are taught on 360 degree ranges where dynamic movement, defensive posture and the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship are emphasized.
