George is a retired military veteran with 24 years of service in the Air Force.
George had over 20 years of experience performing instructor/evaluator duties in the military. He earned multiple small arms marksmanship medals with pistol and rifle.
Lead Precision Long Range Instructor, and competitive marksman. Randy is also the owner and operator of Thunder Ammo & Arms and a pioneer in the development of bullet design, focusing on accuracy and extreme range stability. Working mostly with 50 BMG, 460 Steyr, 416 Barrett, and 338 Lapua, but not limited to these calibers. Randy has a reputation of offering some of the most accurate competition ammunition in the world.
Mac is a retired New Mexico State Law Enforcement Park Ranger with 27 years of service.
Mac served as New Mexico State Parks Division Lead Firearms instructor for 18 years, Glock and AR-15 Armorer and active shooter instructor. In these positions, Mac trained all levels of law enforcement and military officers from basic recruits to seasoned field personnel.
The Whittington U Defensive Academy focuses on the real world implementation on the defensive use of the Pistol and Carbine Platforms. The Defensive Academy's goals are to instill a strong fundamental base of interaction with the firearm platform, to help further the knowledge of the responsible gun owner.
The Whittington U Precision Academy offers courses specifically oriented towards 1000 Yards and well beyond, allowing for all centerfire cartridges and rifle platforms to be used. This Academy focuses on the caliber/cartridges and rifle platforms that are designed for engagements anywhere between 100 – 2,000 plus yards!
The Whittington U Training Program is proud to offer Basic NRA Certified Firearm Training. NRA Classes are specifically oriented towards developing the knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for owning and using a firearm safely. These courses help build confidence in new and inexperienced firearm owners by instilling the importance of safety, responsibility, and ethics, in responsible firearm ownership.
