The Defensive Pistol Masters Risk Assessment Course focuses on the everyday situations that can occur, and assessing the risk(s) involved, to enable the best course of action in a defensive engagement.
The WU Defensive Pistol series focuses on Violence as a Means of Last Resort, with the defense of ourselves and our loved ones as part of an overall lifestyle change.

Two Days
- This is a progressive curriculum. We require students to take the courses in succession: Defensive Pistol I - Defensive Pistol II - Defensive Pistol III - Defensive Pistol Masters
- Masters Courses are designed to present challenging scenarios based on real world situations. Students can choose the Masters they would like to attend based on the topic; the only prerequisite for Masters is Defensive Pistol I, Defensive Pistol II and Defensive Pistol III.
- Course participants may also purchase an ammunition package with the appropriate round count. (Call to check availability of Ammunition Packages)

Whittington University Course Cancellation Policy
A 30-day cancellation notice is required to cancel your Course registration prior to the first day of class in order to receive a full course refund. The NRA Whittington Center will not issue you a refund if you fail to cancel your registration before the 30-day time period.
Course cancellations and refunds are handled separately from any onsite lodging.

Safety Policy
The safety of our students and instructors are treated as top priority. The NRA Whittington Center staff and instructors have the right to remove someone from class or the range at any point during the duration of the course should there be a concern for safety risks. A student who is removed will not receive a certificate of completion. A Refund will not be issued.
Every guest 18 years of age and older must read and sign the online Waiver before they are allowed onto the NRA Whittington Center. For those younger than 18 years of age a parent or legal guardian must complete the form and sign it on their behalf. Waivers must be filled out once a year every year on or after January 1st.

This course introduces students to the art and science of Precision Long Range Shooting with classroom instruction, strong fundamental focus with both shooter/spotter teams and known distance data gathering.
This course builds on the foundation and fundamentals learned in the Precision Long Range I course. Students will learn techniques for Angle Fire and Alternate Firing positions.
This course builds on the foundation and fundamentals taught in Precision Long Range I-II. Students are encouraged to apply everything they have previously learned and put it to use.
